Teaching and the arts are Barbara's passions. She has served 10 years as the president of an arts nonprofit and 25 years teaching students of all ages (elementary - college). She has traveled to 24 countries as an international speaker and relief worker. Here at home she has worked at a local food pantry, assisted the homeless, and participated in other various community services. Barbara is currently serving her first term in the State Legislature.
