MAINE HOUSE DISTRICT 107
Mark Cooper
“As a lifelong Windham resident who grew up farming, a third-generation owner of L C Cooper Co Inc., a building contractor, and a current Windham farmer for 35 years, I’ve experienced first-hand the negative effects of over-regulation that have come from Augusta. I want to represent the little guy whose voice is never heard because he (or she) is too busy working to survive and has no time for the shenanigans of the government. I will work to protect the interests of the hard-working residents of Windham.”

About Mark
Anyone who has spent time in the fields or on a construction site can attest that there is no typical day in farming or building. Each day brings new challenges and often emergencies. One of Mark's strengths is being able to remain calm during these difficulties. Head on, he assesses the situation, considers all the facts and possibilities, and then determines the best course of action. Mark will bring this experienced leadership with him to Augusta. Throughout his career in agriculture and the trades, Mark’s seen the government overregulate both industries. Mark wants to see a return to the Maine he grew up in, with less regulation, less taxation, and the ability for families to thrive and grow.
